Who is it for?
Our Foci site is a customisable template web site which has helped many small liberal political organisations to get online, including:
- local parties, MPs, AMs, MSPs, and MEPs;
- regional Lib Dem groups;
- DELGA;

- the Alliance Party of Northern Ireland.
The Foci site is by far the British Liberal Democrats' most popular web site service. It has been developed with the needs of local campaigning in mind. It's fast to launch, we give full support and training, and it costs just £17 +VAT a month.
With a wide range of options, every site is different, catering exactly for your needs.
What does it do?

- lots of automatically generated content keeps your site looking fresh with minimal effort;
- user-centric features like polls, petitions, surveys, forums, and automated email updates keep you in touch with your electorate;

- all the sites are designed with optimal search engine placement in mind;
- all pages meet and exceed accessibility legislation so that your content reaches the widest possible audience;
- support is available from 9am to 6pm by telephone (0845 number), email, and MSN Messenger;
- regular advice and training sessions are held, and staff from Prater Raines attend every spring and autumn Liberal Democrat conference.

When you buy the site, you automatically get future service upgrades as well, not just the service as you sign up. Service enhancement and support is always in progress, taking suggestions and requests from individual clients and making the new functionality available to all customers.
Additions and changes which our other clients will find useful are often made at no extra cost, but if you're looking for something completely different, then we'd be happy to discuss your requirements in depth and give you a quote.
What does it cost?
The standard charge is £17 per month +VAT and is payable quarterly in advance. All features are included for this price.
There is a one-off fee of £42 +VAT for setting up a new site.
All hosting charges and the registration and renewal of a .org.uk and a libdems.org.uk domain name are included in the monthly cost. If you would prefer a .org, .com, or .net domain name, or need additional domains, there is a small annual charge.
Email forwarding from your new domain to any number of existing email accounts is included. There is an additional monthly fee of £2.10 +VAT if you would like us to host your email on our servers.
Can I try it out?
A special example version of the site is always running which anyone can use. You simply need to log in with the username "user" and password "password", and you can try editing the style and content of a site before you buy one.
